I recently sold GOR having held since March 2021 and kicked myself for not selling at $2 in December last year I took the opportunity at just under $2 in October. My view in December 2023 was that gold prices were heading towards 2500 from 2000 and at that price GOR would be worth north of $2.50.
I was right about the gold price but very wrong about the price of GOR. It has been my first gold stock and so my learning tool, profitable but confusing at times.
The sale of De Gray should push GOR well over $2.20 but what happens is not something I have any success in picking.
I will continue to watch GOR, but would only be interested if it is at least 40% below what I consider a fair value, because the market seems to see my fair value as 10-20% too high..
