Question on getting job as an equity analyst on the buy side.

I have a mate who’s worked as an analyst OS but is new to Australia, was at Fidelity and a family office in London most recently.

He’s now in Oz but has no network here so hitting brick walls with his CV.

His recent history is global small cap value focused but he is flexible.

Has a company set up so can consult / contract, can work remote, etc.

Any tips from the brains trust assembled here would be great!
