Shorts were increasing leading up to the results announcement

This leads me to believe that this 20% pop yesterday is probably short covering.

I would say that their stock picking in small caps has been not so good with PRO and M7T as examples. So achieving this double-digit growth is surprising although growth for this half is less than PCP

Will be interesting to see if this drops in the next few days.

The short interest was increasing @edgescape, but still very low. Still under 1% short sold. Would you really get that sort of SP rise from short covering from such a small amount (low percentage) of shorts?

Still 4 day lag. I guess we'll see in the next update on Monday.

I don't hold much conviction due to their large holdings in stocks such as Prophecy, Mach7 and Rubicon Water..

Forgot to add AEF is very tightly held with about 100m shares and market cap of 600m before the result

There won't be many sellers on that result so I think anyone short will struggle to find anyone willing to sell.
