@Strawman , I am relatively new to the site (obviously) and I don't know if this would be hard, prohibitively expensive, (or impossible), but I was wondering if the allocation of Dividends on our Strawman portfolios could be allocated to cash instead of reinvestment in the stock already bought.
I thought it would allow members to continue engaging more frequently with some of the small cap stocks using dividends, particularly when the market is down (like now), without having to sell out of high conviction stocks.
IRL I am highly dividend focused (as I have previously disclosed here) and part of that process allows me to run a cash stash to reinvest in other companies at times and prices where I see opportunity to either chase capital growth opportunities or cycle to shares that are going to pay a dividend next.
I do recognise though that I am likely in the minority on this platform and dividends may not play much of a part in what most members are doing here.
If it was not a drama to do (not hard or expensive) , maybe we could see if there was any appetite amongst members for a change.
Just a thought.
