ADN is up around 93% as I type this (which is still 48% down on where I bought it almost 3 years ago), seemingly off the back of the below ASX announcement:

I'm now highly skeptical of anything this company announces. I chatted to the mate that 'put me onto' ADN (the Lord save me from 'hot tips') and he's still a believer and reckons it's just the start of a big recovery. I thought I'd see if the brains trust here at Strawman has any insight to offer.

I'm wary of anything HPA.

Because HPA is not traded on the spot market and many HPA producers already have supply and offtakes with their customers. I think it will be very hard for customers to switch to another supplier or producer because there seems to be some sort of quality control requirements in those offtakes.

Hence HPA is embedded in the manufacturing supply chain so I guess it's very hard for a new producer to establish a business.

Then again my research in this is about a year old so maybe things have changed since then?
