BGL Might appear to not have the strongest management team, however one can't deny they are ticking a few boxes:
Certainly gets my attention. (Disclaimer: I have a small position in BGL)
Fast forward a few months & the true colors seems to appear! Yet another raise to fund some dodgy guarantees. Management appears to spin stories without backing up claims. I hope the gold price rise gets me into a break even situation here, after which I'll sell & lock this one away, indefinitely.

No confirmation of formal bids yet, but it’s looking like these two are the last ones seriously kicking tyres @Bear77.
Wouldn’t call it a shock given the chatter over the past few weeks, but interesting to see who blinks first (or if either of them do at all). Gold price still doing its thing...

Hi @Jacques527, I would also add they are currently an acquisition target with (high) quality assets trading at a discount. There are public reports suggesting potential takeover interest from several mid-tier and major producers. I don't think you can go wrong with a speculative buy here, and wouldn't it be nice to double from here on takeover speculations?! :)
