I take Cathy Wood with a grain of salt but for anyone who is interested, I strongly recommend listening to her recent interview on The Diary of a CEO.
I tend to agree that AI in self-driving applications is going to be huge. I just don't know if Tesla will win that race or will Waymo continue to (or someone else).
Currently I am thinking Waymo given the redundancies of its sensor system but would love some insight.
My plan is to watch Tesla's rollout over the next couple of months in Austin and hopefully we get enough clarity to answer that question and maybe invest in either Alphabet or Tesla.
I think whilst most people are watching AI in the 'ask it a question space', I personally think the self-driving space will be just as disruptive if not more and will happen faster.
