Howdy,

Today FBR have announced that someone has finally purchased one of their robotic building machine (nearly it's a MOU) for 7.8 million to a company in the Territory being Habitat NT

a quick blurb...Habitat NT is a well-established, Territorian-owned construction company based in Darwin, Northern Territory.Founded in 1990, they specialize in residential, commercial, and industrial building projects

Yesterday's news it was an engineering services agreement with Samsung Heavy Industries around a shipbuilding construction robot (sounds interesting)

The cynic in me thinks that it was designed to pop the share price a bit to create some level of positivity

Hold IRL given it has hardly been worth selling since the disaster in the US and the plummeting loss in value, Maybe they are going to turn the corner not incredibly convinced?

@Strawman have we ever tried to get Mark Pivac to strawman? I have a bunch of questions ha ha

@wonkeydonkey -- yup, have been completely blanked me for some reason. Maybe I said something unfavourable about FBR on a podcast or something one time?

Hopefully they come around..

Ha ha, if so sure it was much less than a typical investor of the company would have said

Lets see how we go

I actually have @wonkeydonkey -- but have never even received a reply. Which is unusual.. microcap cash burning companies are usually only too eager to speak with prospective investors!

Let me try again though.

Yes @Strawman it is strange, maybe with all the restructuring that has gone on and change of ceo they might be more favourable ???? as they certainly like to burn cash and issue more shares

Thanks @wonkeydonkey I’m a Territorian, so instantly interested in your post.. But unfortunately (or luckily) I’ve never heard of FBR… although I haven’t live in Australia for over 20 years now, so…

My process for quickly evaluating an unknown company is to read the financials in the reverse order they are presented.. ie Cashflow, Balance Sheet including change in Equity and if I’m still interested…. the P&L.

WOW.. I’m still interested because I have a good sense of humour… FBR’s value destruction over the last decade has been amazing!!

This year they will hit ~$150mil in carried forward losses.. that’s spectacular!!

It looks like a really interesting, amazing product, but I’ll sit out the next 2 or 3 capital raises. Past performance is sometimes a great predictor of future results… Now watch them prove me wrong..
