So I have been asked a few times about my Journey with Charting / Technical Analysis.

Please see my Google Drive for the video as I'm a very slow typer and there's just too much to say.

Also, I'll leave this video up for one month, then I'll have to delete it as it takes up too much storage on my Google Drive.

Thanks @Saiton I felt the love in the video! I agree with your view that both have a role to play..

Personally I start with the Fundamentals but often wait months or years to pull the trigger. I can digest company Financials quicker than I can drink a beer (which is pretty quick), I had to get something from decades of CPA fees. For example, I've always wanted to buy CSL, but it's just been too expensive for me.... one day I'll buy it, but I've been waiting at least 20 years now.

I have a spreadsheet with all my watchlist companies which updates Earnings, Prices and P/E ratios etc when I open it. I then bump that price data up against my own valuation or recommendations from my various subscriptions, The Intelligent Investor, Strawman, The Motley Fool, Simply Wall St etc etc.. When I want to invest I write a thesis for my wife to read, to keep myself honest, and hope it gets approved. ;) I then put as much money in as we can stomach to lose..

BUT at the point of pulling the trigger I find myself wondering about technical trading.. I often just tell myself, a few cents plus or minus isn't going to matter in 10 years time.

It takes all kinds to make the world go round! Thanks very much for the video.
