We changed it such that dividends are received in cash now, not automatically reinvested.

(We put it to a vote in the forums earlier this year, and it may have been easy to miss)

If you scroll to the bottom of your portfolio you'll see cash holdings and the transfers should show there.

I think this is a good move, and aligns with what most of us do in real life I suspect.

Yep - I was a supporter of the change, however I just want to clarify one thing @Strawman - being that under the old system, dividends were being automatically reinvested so the dividends were being captured in the money-weighted returns for that investment on our scorecards. Now, if the dividends just get added to our cash balance, does that mean that dividends will not be factored into our individual company investment returns as they were before? In other words, will the money weighted returns now ONLY include capital gains rather than TSRs?

It does mean the scorecard only shows capital gains from the point of the change onwards. At least at the level of individual positions.

the total portfolio value does include dividends, of course, and is compared against the ASX300 market which also includes dividends.

I'll look to see how easy that is to fix.

@Bear77 we have adjusted the return calculations for each holding such that dividends are once again included, but still received in cash.

I must have been overseas on holidays when this forum discussion was posted. Sorry @Strawman, if I had read this earlier it would have saved my DM last night wondering where all the dividends had gone!!
