Shorts have been building since ASX200 entry, so my suspicion is that it's a short squeeze on a background of the macro news of drone defences being dreadfully woeful across NATO territory being the key drivers.

There is otherwise no reason for such a big rise on thematic and not specific news.

EOS is also up today, but only 10% compared to Droneshield at 19%

@Summer12 I managed to snag Oleg from Droneshield -- he'll be joining us for a chat on Monday the 13th of October at 9am AEDT.

I just looked at the first meeting we had back in 2022... the stock was at 20c then and has since gone up over 22 times!

I was "clever" enough to buy some at 30c here on SM, but progressively sold down between 70c and $1.95. Genius! :(

I'm currently sitting on 20x, and was looking at selling out on valuation grounds.

But the buying momentum is incredibly strong with good volume.

This might be thesis creep, but the buying pressure makes me wonder about an unsolicited takeover.

I have also had that thought re. takeover.

Nearly anything with the keywords defence or strategic materials has gone up IF there's a binding agreement with a government agency

Look at MTM who you also had a meeting with. Best pick I've had in a long time since NST with over 12x return. But i bought way before that meeting on a hunch

Having said that MTM got suspended for submitting their report late so maybe this own goal will kill the momentum....
