$RMS announced their 2025 Resources and Reserves yesterday. I am a relative newbie to the resources sector and so I was hoping to hear from some of the resources gurus on SM including @Bear77 @BkrDznas to what they thought of the announcement.

I don't follow RMS in that kind of detail but as long as the green is more than the red and the exploration/modelling is sus then that's all you need. And if the total still supports the proposed mine plan.

What I do know is that RMS are disciplined operators so its unlikely they will play it loose so one can get away with being "lazy" and taking this at face value.

Yes @Stevie_B, what @BkrDzn said, except I think Josh meant to say "isn't suss" rather than "is sus", but the gist is they their depletion rates (what they are mining) is exceeded by all of the light blue stuff (the additions to the Resource), especially the "Exploration/Drilling" column, which is organic growth through drilling their own tenements and expanding their own projects and finding more gold.

For those gold miners who can't manage to find more than they are mining organically, they can add ounces via the last column (M&A, a.k.a. Project Acquisition) which is known as inorganic growth and RMS, to their credit, have added ounces through both methods, i.e. organic AND inorganic growth of Resources.

Disclosure: Held.

That was a typo lol.

RMS is one of the few miners you can say are regularly good acquirers.

Totally Agree. They seem to have done pretty well out of the 33m CDI's that Spartan held in Benz, especially with the 4.5x price increase over the past 6 months.
