Also it is ‘interesting’ that the SP is up 50 percent on no news during the week prior to this announcement. Cynical? Nah Yeh!

No news to you @Stevie_B but there were plenty of people that knew that given the SP move

You may find that there is some tender/contract portal that could have had it leaked out. Stock was also heavy for a while then not. Small and micros have be smoking hot lately too. Can be many factors coming together at once

Release also sneaks in an update that they are working on a $25m debt facility to fund growth. Internally funding (i.e. CFs and debt, not with new equity) is how the contract wins and subsequent earnings growth will compounded the best in the SP.

Also good news in the context that the IP legal action by its competitor Redflex isn't affecting the signing of new contracts. This was my biggest concern that agencies may be reluctant to sign until this was dealt with.

Thanks for the insight @BkrDzn and @Shapeshifter. I subsequently had a look at the CTDOT portal and the following was announced on 23 September which suggests a new contract is imminent…

Going forward I’ll have my PA regularly take a look at this so I’m no longer a mushroom when it comes to future contracts.
