A good way to know you’re going to lose money on a value stock thesis is when you think “wow if they just did these obvious things, it would get way better” but they haven’t for years. An even bigger red flag when board is smart.
Starting to think taking a small research position on a stock you kind of like or perhaps a bit expensive is very underated.
