Did you watch the investor day webinar? I tuned in & out throughout the day in between my other job commitments. They were well prepared & had a lot of pretty PowerPoint slides - however, I got the vibe that they really just wanted to get people in the room drunk & happy.

Sadly I didn't remember it was on, so wound up reading the (100 odd) Powerpoint slides afterwards. Sounds like the type of investor day that I should have tried to attend. I got a real 'positive spin' vibe from the Powerpoint presentation, I'm not sure what the live presentation was like. Lots of beautiful pictures of wine, vineyards and restaurants. Lots of charts of quantity of various brands of wine being shipped to various countries, 'trends and opportunities' but very light on anything like profit margins. I was not impressed in the slightest, but glad some people obviously bought the spin. It's a long term quality business with a huge amount of tangible property assets and genuine brand value, so I'm not worried about it going broke, but 'Show me the money' as they say.

You didn't forget... they didn't announce it until the day. I never received a notification and only became aware when the announcement was published on Commsec 8 mins before it commenced. I'm guessing only the substantial shareholders & select market analysts got an in-person invite. It was recorded so you can still go back and watch it if you're genuinely interested.

They recorded the full day minus lunch/coffee breaks, so you might want to watch it 2x speed replay.

Thanks @Unsophisticated , I always assume I saw a notification and forgot these days. Pretty poor form of them to not notify. I will probably go back and give it a watch to see if my Powerpoint impression is supported by the actual presentation.

While I am happy to see a bounce in TWE share price today, it seems to be off a bunch of 'Plans' that management have for TWE, rather than any hard figures indicating actual improvement. I was also not stoked to see that dividends remain suspended until they get back to leverage under 2%, which would mean not until 2028 extrapolating from their Investor Update. If that happens I'm going to be PISSED!

I did buy this as a long term turnaround, but I was expecting to collect dividends while I waited. 'Not happy Jan'.

Price $4.66 today, 4 June.
