After the news with PayPal joining the BNPL scene afterpay took a hit. Looks like its now back on the upward trend. Thoughts on this being a BUY?

Hi @Craigsm -- somehow you've ended up on a delisted company page? The forum page for AfterPay (APT) is here: www.strawman.com/reports/APT/forum Re your question. With Strawman, we try to address that kind of question (what do people think of XYZ?) more holistically with our Company Reports. EG. With AfterPay, on the reports tab, you'll see the average consensus value is $43.35 (and hence overvalued). This is based on the average of all members who have posted a valuation, weighted according to net votes. That being said, there's quite a diversity within that average. One value is at $182, another at $20. You can get a better sense of how these members arrived at their estimates by visiting their personal company reports (click through the user avatars on the reports page, which are ordered by votes received). EG My report for APT is here: www.strawman.com/reports/APT/Strawman It's also worth noting that AfterPay continues to rank highly in terms of the total value held across all member portfolios. Currently at number 7 (although trending down). We think this approach helps us avoid a lot of the repeated chatter (and arguments) around whether you should buy or not. It's what clutters up Facebook groups and traditional forums. With Strawman, anyone can put forward what they think a share is worth, and the key arguments for holding, but we aggregate and rank content so you can easily see the most widely endorsed opinions, as well as get a view on the consensus. Importantly, we also think the best way for users to signal to others what they think is worth buying is through their virtual portfolios. Aside from showing the timing of trades and the weighting and spread of individual positions, it allows our members build a track-record and provides for a lot of accountability (something that is sorely lacking on most platforms). Once you've explored the company page for a bit, i'd encourage you to post your own thoughts and/or valuation. It's a neat way to keep an investment diary and the very act of putting some content together will help clarify your thinking immensely. Good luck!
