My understanding is Bravura is enterprise software for large financial institutions to lay over legacy software that can draw info from these legacy products.

The companies spend money to integrate and adjust Sonata to their individual circumstances but Bravura can then use that to upgrade the product offering to other clients.

For me it appears the market is demanding growth, so while not really in the same market, netwealth and Hub24, selfwealth etc are growing the top line. Extrapolate that out a few years and it looks attractive to fundies.

BVS with flat revenue growth for the next few years despite being reasonably priced for this market is apparently not of much interest.

I've been looking into Bravura and it actually ticks a lot of boxes for me, and a lot of reviews online of their Sonata software seeems to be very positive. I'm struggling however to understand why they have been so beaten up relative to companies such as Selfwealth, Hub24, etc, apart from the fact that they've given subdued growth in guidance. Is it fair to look at these business in the same light? Do they actually provide similar services?

The way I understand it, Selfwealth delivers a platform where one can manage their whole portfolio (super, equities, accounts, etc) for both individiual investors and professionals. It also has reporting features, research tools, etc. In comparison, it seems Bravura tries to offer similar features and services but more for financial institutions. Is this correct? Is there any more to it? Are there any specific features to differentiate these businesses?

Cheers
