I would really like a dollop of TNE in my portfolio...hoping I am presented with a better entry point at some stage in the future.

New to this company, but really like what they do. I have seen the big dip and thinking of an opportunity to buy in. They lost around 25% in a week based on the below report:

  •  Net Profit Before Tax of $24.5m, up 130%
  •  Revenue of $129.3m, up 5%
  •  Expenses of $104.8m, down 7%
  • SaaS Fees Recognised of $37.5m, up 42%
  • SaaS Annual Contract Value (ACV) of $85.8m, up 45%
  • Operating Cashflow of $7.8m, up 100+%
  • Cash and Cash Equivalents of $68.2m, up 19%
  • Dividend of 3.15cps, up 10%
  • R&D expenditure (before capitalisation) of $27.8m, up 7%, which is 22% of revenue FY18 Statutory Report restated to apply AASB15

Can someone please point out the the major downside here? Was it just at the point that companies with huge P/Es now have to strive for perfection?

Hard to be too disappointed with those results, but my guess is the market was wanting something even better. I think you're on the money with the notion that such high valuations simply demand perfection
