Online conferences can be a great way to learn about companies.  You usually get a punchy 10-15 min presentation from the CEO and that's often enough to know if you want them on your watchlist or not, or just catch up on the latest if you're already following them. You can often ask a question or 2 if time permits as well.

I've been going to this one for a year or two now, next week's companies just announced and registration now open.

The ASX holds this sort of thing from time to time too, and there are usually recordings posted to youtube afterwards.
