Hi Team,

Looking for advice on how to reflect the value my shares in SOL Patts (SOL) that were acquired when SOL overtook MLT.

Is it easiest to just do a buy order for that amount and sell the corresponding MLT holding to 0 shares?

Thanks,

RedMan

Hey RedMan,

Best thing to do is flick an email to [email protected].  Sometimes the feed they get doesn't give them the appropriate prompt to adjust it in the background and they need a nudge.  I'm not sure whether the system will let you sell MLT now - again I'd say it depends on the feed and with no trades in a day on MLT it wouldn't pass one of the trading tests - so it may be the only way it can be fixed is by manual intervention.

Hi RedMan -- Thanks for letting us know. We usually need to manually action certain corporate actions.

In this instance, I understand that Milton Shareholders received 0.1863 SOL shares on 5th Oct.

SOL shares closed at $38.20 that day, which means in dollar terms Milton shareholders received $7.12 in value.

If you like, i can sell your MLT shares on 5th of October, at $7.12, and then rebuy the same value of SOL shares on the same day.

If i'm right (and let me know if i messed this up), that should best emulate the real world scenario.

btw -- sometimes i might miss a few posts, so please email [email protected] if you have any questions.
