AFR 28 Feb - "Copper miner Sandfire will try to reduce its vulnerability to soaring European electricity prices after revealing production costs on its new Spanish mine would be much higher than suggested five months ago. Sandfire told investors in September that MATSA would produce copper at a unit cost of between US40¢ and US50¢ per pound in the year to June, but it revealed on Monday that production costs would instead be US94¢ per pound."
Hmmm ok... food for thought.
