Not a small cap fund manager (ASX large caps) but the Selector quarterlies are always a good read - Selector Fund (website-files.com) A 'quality' and industrial focus mainly.

Eighty-eight pages! - Quite a read, and actually very informative. Thanks for this, Mujo.

Gee the quality/growth guys have really taken a pasting the last year or so. reminds me that the style/factor returns are cyclical, also managers can and do stay true to style and usually fully invested, so it is up to the investor to make a call on their exposure to the market and the style at any point.

Resources/energy the place to be in 2022 - Finacial even did okay with higher rates - mostly banks/insurers.

I would be curious to know what small cap fund managers newsletter respect and read - especially any less well known managers - for valuable insights?

Samuel Terry Asset Management just released their annual newsletter - 2022-Annual-Letter.pdf (samuelterry.com.au) 16.0%pa since 2003! They are postive on oil but have taken profits and are very cautious on markets.
