Hi CanadianAussie,

Thanks for the awesome content you have written up for this company. I have struggled to find a recent investor presentation.

Do you have much insight into other ASX listed companies operating in this sector? DTZ has had a good run lately but SMX has still to generate meaningful revenue. Do you see these companies as direct competitors - do their technologies overlap and do they have similar target customers.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Reon, It doesn't surprise me that you were not able to find a recent investor presentation. My assumption is new management has had their hands full with the restructure and turning the company around. I've emailed them on a couple questions, competitive landscape being one of them but have yet to hear back. I haven't explored competitors in as much detail as I'd like. The ASX listed ones I've come across so far are: SMX DTZ YPB TZL There's also Tracr which is used in the diamond industry and has the big name players in that field as customers. There are others outside the ASX as well. One of these is an Israeli company that licenses the IP out and pays around 2-4% in royalties vs DDT who owns the IP outright. It's a crowded space. My thesis here is backing management and their belief in the product, the CEO has put up $650,000 of his own money, as well as the past success the company has had getting blue chip automotive customers on board. I'd encourage you to visit their webpage and read into the new CEOs background. I find it amusing he used to investigate corporate fraud and the CEO of the company he owned shares in (DDT) was committing just that!
