2259 GMT - Australia's S&P/ASX 200 looks set to fall at the open, following Wall Street which extended a slump amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East and higher U.S. Treasury yields. ASX futures are down by 0.8%. In the U.S., the S&P closed down 1.2%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 0.7%, while the technology heavy Nasdaq Composite fell 1.8%. Locally, tourism and migration flow data, and consumer sentiment figures for April are out. Australia's benchmark index closed 0.5% lower, as investors consider how interest-rate uncertainty and an escalation of hostilities in the Middle East may affect markets. (alice.uribe@wsj.com)
