Here in Sth Aust, love 'em or hate 'em, the OTR fuel franchise is one of the most impressively run & visible business models. Fuel price-wise, they seem to the first to raise prices and one of the last to come down but they are omnipresent and considered an SA success story from their beginnings of one traditional service station in a northwestern suburb. As Viva convert Coles Express to OTR, and refurbish to their 24-7 mini-mart model, there is only upside for Viva.

100% Franked ... tax benefit for us workers.

Forecast Gross dividend yield circa 12%

Divi payout ratio: circa 45% this is good VEA retaining the earnings here.

Some profitabilty here ROE growth this 2022

Cash flow positive covers the dividend: Free cash flow 20cps vs divi payout 7.43cps

Normal pe ratio: 15% in the teens sustainable.


**The excise for petrol, diesel and all other fuel and petroleum-based products, except aviation fuels, was halved for 6 months from 12.01am on March 30. The cut has provided some relief for about three months so far and is due to return to the full levy of 44.2 cents per litre on September 28.at 6 July 2022..
