Forum Topics Loss of Company Research Tab

Hi Strawman, apologies if you have addressed this query elsewhere, but in recent weeks I’ve noticed the ‘research’ tab in the company info is no longer available.  Is this a temporary removal as part of the switch/transition to the S & P data?  Personally I found it really handy to have that info close by within the platform and hope that it comes back in some form or other.

Hi Pablo -- unfortunately the data package we have with our new provider (S&P) does not include the necessary items - at least not under the current subscription. It was a tough choice, but given we are still a free service, and given the (significant) cost of the additional data, we've decided to park that feature for now. Especially as our analytics revealed it was one of the less popular features of the site. That being said, we can turn it back on relatively quickly, and our intention is to bring it back -- and improve it -- in due course... Apologies for the loss. In the meantime, you can get all the same data for free at Google finance: www.google.com/finance
