Nothing much that hasn't already been reported already, although they did indicate that the second Platform lot of wafers is on track and the should be analysed by late Q2 2021.

30th US patent has been awarded and 2 further patents have been filed.

4DS gets a speeding ticket today

At time of writing 4DS is up 60% today and was asked to explain the price increase and huge increase in volume. The indicate that there is no news relating to the increases

Another company working in the same area (RERAM) is WBT, which had a similar please explain in late August.  Their share price has more than tripled from before the rise.

I read this as generally being a positive update on progress and plans over the next 6-12 months.  The only negative thing I could see was that they did not report on the 'retention' results, which remain confidential. There was also mention of a potential corporate transaction in 2021.  I believe that M & A has been mentioned in previous presentations as a possible outcome.

However, the market has not responded positively, with the share price down 11.5% at time of writing.  In saying there have only been 138 trades so far today. Looking at the chart the share price does tend to spike and drop by ~10% at times.

I tend to agree with ag11's valuation thesis. 

4DS has quite broad patent protection in the area and very credible partners in Western Digital.  They are also partnering with imec, which is more of a testing consortium, to assess the performance of the chips. Imec is the go to place in the semiconductor industry to test processes/chips in a high volume manufacturing environment in the semiconductor industry, but independent of a particular manufacturer, which definitely adds to this narrative. 

These partners don't guarentee success, but certainly shows that 4DS is taking the most appropriate steps to be succesful and so far the results are positive.

Disclosure: I recently purchased a small holding
