PLY is like the picks and shovels to this new emerging industry. They also have a second string to their bow by developing their own games. Peter Lynch in his book One Up on Wall Street said "some of the best investment come from what is around you everyday".As soon as a child can hold something it is a device of some sort. Most adults have buds in their ears as well as looking at a device at every opportunity, Society is addicted to external stimulation and entertainment. AR, VR, metaverse will be the new fix. PLY is one stock I am going overweight in, along with FMG for their exposure to Green Hydrogen. That's it, I have probably put the moccas on both of these companies now !

Software and apps will probably develop in parallel to hardware and headsets as products are adopted by a broader market. The companies delivering these will perhaps be best placed to take advantage of the metaverse (apps and platforms typically have higher margins than commoditised technology hardware) with advertisers sure to follow. Gaming platforms that have already expanded into the metaverse should begin to see a bigger financial impact as the spending power of their younger audience rises.
