I can't remember where I read it but there was a study done where they got 2000 people to look at the Empire State Building and asked them how tall it was. It turned out that the average length guessed across all 2000 participants was remarkably close to how tall it actually is.

The Strawman community is so powerful because with our different insights, experiences and risk profiles we can all look at companies collectivley and value them through our straws to find some sort of aggregated intrinsic value.

Pretty neat if you ask me.

Apart from establishment costs, a Strawman ETF has a lot of merit.

You could do worse than take advantage of the combined knowledge and experience of the Strawman Community.

The results speak for themselves.

Has there ever been any thought of getting the Strawman Index into an ETF or Fund? 41% p.a is pretty good going!
And have any strawman members tried to replicate the index in their own real life portofloio?

The Strawman Index was designed to be replicable, and is very much amenable to being emulated in an ETF. There's a fair bit of cost involved to run these vehicles, but it's something we'd like to try at some stage.

Liquidity may be a challenge. One way to overcome this is to have a close ended LIC. That way, liguidity issues are avoided....
