Forum Topics HCH HCH Large Load Grade Copper

Okay, I've got a bit more here.

It seems there might be some issues with the management. The posters on Hot Copper seem very confident with the resource, but less confident with the management, including the way they have cap raised and reported results.

For a bit more info - the resource (not sure if Jorc proven) is currently 3mt of copper (not ore) and looks like it might expand, - one drill hole was a 0.5% from surface for about 900 m at 0.5%m. It seems like it's going to be a giant mine.

3mt of copper has a current worth of 27 billion - if the company can even make 1% out of that it's 270mil. The current market cap is 129m.

Chile is a reasonable mining jurisdiction, even if they are struggling with Covid.

I just can't see what I'm missing here - why is this not valued? There are some contaminants I think, but they don't seem major.

*dyor, I make mistakes and there may be errors in this (can I add a signature hah!)

Disclosure (wasn't a shareholder at time of posting, have since purchased a small amount).

*low grade

This is an explorer - they have a market cap of around 120 mil at the moment - I'm trying to get my head around copper mining, and don't understand why the discoveries they have made aren't valued by the market? It seems like this is an enormous low grade copper deposit.

This is an example of one of their copper drill holes.

There is something about them not having the right type of drilling or something? (not entirely sure)
Thoughts?
