Forum Topics HCH HCH Investment from Glencore

Did you have any thoughts Slats?

Those drilling results didn't look particularly game changing to me, though I've very possibly missed something.

What I do find interesting is that the price is significantly down (Without looking maybe 75%?) from when Glencore bought in, possibly reflecting the lower copper price ~$7400/t and the nasty inflation that's hit construction.

There are definitely some sovereign risks involved, though the new tax (looks like an increase from the first one?) in the second article actually looks pretty reasonable. The new constitution they are going to vote on is apparently fairly extreme - unsure how that will affect mining.

With the long term outlook for copper as it is and (from my limited reading) lack of major projects being built, I suspect that this project will get built at some point - it's genuinely huge, just low grade.

Discussion between Christian Easterday, and Rick Rule.

Rick is quite positive and it's great that it's getting his interest. I am quite worried about Christian's talk of turning HCH into a producer.

Can't see this as being anything but good news.

I particularly like that it adds an external director to the company.
