Hi everyone,

Finding an experienced and reliable Accountant is not an easy task. For this kind of service, I usually prefer to take recommendations.

Basically, I need an Accountant to help me to put together my Tax Return correctly with both US and AU Portfolios + a couple of other investments. It would be a bonus if they can also provide insights on efficient tax strategies.

Note: I'm aware I could use Sharesight and try to do everything by myself, but for this year I'd like some professional guidance.

Note 2: If possible, someone based in Sydney (but outside Sydney is ok too)

Hi @rodt,

I don't have a reccommendation for you.

But I do ask a clarification. You can use sharesight reports to assist you submit your own ITR. But can also just hand those same reports over to an accountant, making his or her job easier to understand your situation and advise you (and also saves you money on accountant hours worked).

I do the second.

Just making sure you don't misunderstand the purpose or potential of sharesight. Apologies if I my assumption is incorrect.
