WHO has identified 11 coronavirus variants so far:

• Four variants of concern - alpha, beta, gamma, delta
• Seven variants of interest - epsilon, zeta, eta, theta, iota, kappa, lambda

Lambda and it's mutant MU are the most concerning ones at the moment, scientists are trying to figure out whether it is as contagious as delta.

Here's an interesting article describing Israel's experience of reopening after large scale vaccination.  I believe the experience in other countries, like Singapore for example, has been similar. Perhaps the term "reopening" may be a bit misleading compared the reality of it . Something to consider in your investment thought processes and theses, particularly "reopening" plays.
