After looking into the work of Wayne Jones from Ganes Capital I’ve come away very impressed. After hearing his interview on Rask last year, I’ve looked more into method and I’ve got to say, he’s one of the more impressive fund managers I’ve come across. He has long term outperformance of his benchmark, but what’s impressed me most about him is his method for selecting companies and his true ‘buy and hold’ mindset. For the long term investors out there, I recommend listening to the interview but also reading his quarterly letters to investors available on their website - they’re packed with great information and worthwhile lessons while also giving a glimpse of his investing mindset which has been so successful. He’s very non-promotional and hasn’t done much media stuff but from what I’ve seen but he’s someone I think everyone can learn so much off. I certainly have.
