Forum Topics Mute Button

We've just enabled a 'Mute' feature on Strawman. This allows you to mute forum topics or members you're not interested in.

You can elect to mute indefinitely, or for just one month. (No one else can see what you have muted)

You'll see a mute button at the top of every forum:

You'll see something similar on a member's profile page.

If you're on the Newsfeed, you can hit the three dot menu to mute either the person or the forum topic.

You can edit what's muted by visiting the 'Account Actions' menu (under My Account) at the top right.

Note that mutes are not retrospective; it wont get rid of content in your newsfeed that was posted prior to your mute. Also, you can't mute a company. ie you'll see all Straws and Valuations from anyone you haven't muted. If you have muted someone, you wont see their Straws/Valuations on the newsfeed, but you will see it on the company page.

Let us know if you spot any issues, or have any feedback in general. We got a few requests for this -- but, to be clear, not because we've had any poor behaviour! This is more about ensuring you can tailor the newsfeed to be more personally relevant.
