Hi

I'm doing some analysis of PNV and its history of shorting.

I'm stuggling to find the % short data from 2020.

On the ASIC website I can find the daily reported shorts.

https://asic.gov.au/regulatory-resources/markets/short-selling/short-position-reports-table/

But i'm looking for a chart or spreadsheet without having to build my own!

I want a chart like on Shortman for PNV but for 5 years. They only go up to 3 years.

https://www.shortman.com.au/stock?q=PNV

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can’t help @Parko5. However, the 3yr chart on Shortman.com.au tells you the story of the heaviest shorting on PNV in June 2022 when 11.4% of the stock was shorted. At the same time Chairman David Williams was telling shareholders that shorters are our friends. Perhaps for investors with a long investment horizon, this might be true?

Thanks @Rick

I'm interested in the second half of 2020. That was when the largest PNV short squeeze occured.

I'm amazed how difficult to source the data from ASIC/ASX. It is criminal how data like this is not easily available.

I had to ring a mate who rang his mate at a fund. And i managed to get this screen shot.

Analysis to follow shortly.

Actually i don't think the above is correct. It doesn't match the last few months of shorts.

This must be some other indicator.....

It should not be this hard to source this type of info.

Not to worry for PNV....i don't think we can compare the 2020 PNV short sqeeze with what is happening now.

See my straw on PNV for more details if you are interested.

Cheers
