@NewbieHK I remain skeptical of this investment in what is essentially a focused media website. Isn't the board's skill set in providing seed capital? and phasing a startup through to profitability or listing?

Buying an AFSL in order to access more client and peddle their wares?

Maybe I am over thinking it or missing something?

Its an inconsequential I guess. 120mil SOI and another 2mil issued = 1.6% increase. And at $0.06 per share, that's $120k.

At this stage the market has reacted positively. I am out of action for a couple of weeks but, I look forward to looking into these announcements in more detail.

Punting on junior explorers while calling yourself "an ASX LIC providing venture capital to deep-tech innovators solving problems of global scale" is a bit silly. Now they're buying a retail investor news website.

Really weird.

PVL is probably too lazy to search and trade on overseas markets.

But I would be definitely interested if they "punted" on some of these...

Amazon, Meta, Felix Ltd, Xylem, Keysight Technologies, Cadence, Corvus Pharmaceuticals, Mandalay Resources and Applied Digital
