As anyone who has read my posts over the last couple of years knows i don't have a high regard for broker PT or B/S/H recommendations. won't go through all the reasons (again).

when i managed money two things i attempted to train myself to do was to ignore PT and S/B/H calls and make up my own mind to find anything useful out of the research, and as an aside, concluding on the quality of a result BEFORE looking at the market reaction. --hard to do, it did take some training

an interesting feature on the modern market (C21st), is the enormous size of quantitative momentum funds that actually use PT and S/B/H calls in their algos, so you get (esp ST) the outsize moves from changes to the above. that helps explain the outcome but is of no help to me in my process.
