Sums it up really

Now I know where the money is going and why HUB, NWL and other fintechs are so popular

Above is from a lecture slide which I attended last week

Media is a close 2nd with Health

Enough for me to harbour no doubts when buying overpriced stocks such as HUB.

[not held unfortunately but I think it will change soon]

Don't have the presso with me but HUB, NWL and PPS were mentioned

Unless something fundamental changes in the wealth sector and if there are pressos pitching FinTech more than anything else (IE gold, mining, health etc) I would assume business as usual

IE: share price and valuations keeps going up

Not really bull case but shows where investment dollars are flowing.

When students learn these at uni they will follow. And inevitably creates excess demand for stocks starting with large caps. Like a flywheel effect.

Once this happens you can throw your excel spreadsheet away! Because a class of FinTech grads have already made up their mind and see value just by understanding the future biz before you have done your valuation or opened that broker report with that super low price target.

Other names I can just make out in the logo slide include Link, Iress, Zip, Square, Self wealth, lonsec (gdg). There's quite a lot.

I see NWL is up a lot too.

Does this mean it's a bubble? Maybe or maybe not.

Haven't bought hub yet in real life yet but put the order here.

Just want to say that I'm a holder

Actually I have been a holder for about a few weeks.

Entry price was the high $55 range about the time when the index rebalance shook a few positions and after checking maximum intraday price deviations over the year (usually it is around 5% on a down day).

Since I ignored all advice about this being super overvalued, I reckon it could hit $47 soon

But I think that is dependent on someone finding the BFG9000 to blast the share price back to a more reasonable valuation,

Yes, I think the "Doom loop" of demand exceeding supply is still in effect. Now hitting the $60 range.

See how this goes....
