Competition Rules

1. General

The Strawman Classic (Competition) is run by Strawman Pty Limited (Strawman). The Competition is promoted by Ausbiz TV Pty Limited (Ausbiz, we, our or us). TF Global Markets (Aust) Limited trading as Think Markets (Think Markets) is the sponsor and provider of the prize. Strawman, Ausbiz and ThinkMarkets are together referred to as the ‘Hosts’.

The aim of the Competition is to create a virtual portfolio of shares (Portfolio) with the highest value as at the Close Date using the Strawman virtual trading platform www.strawman.com/classic (StrawmanPlatform). Participant rankings will be displayed on the Strawman Platform.

Participation in the Competition is subject to these Competition Rules. By participating in the Competition, you are deemed to have accepted these Competition Rules and the Strawman Terms and Conditions on the Strawman Platform.

These Competition Rules may be amended by Ausbiz or Strawman at any time by posting a notice on the Strawman Platform if an amendment is reasonably necessary or desirable for the fair and efficientoperation of the Competition. It is your responsibility to check the Strawman Platform for the most up to date Competition Rules.

2. Participant Eligibility

To be eligible to enter the Competition, you must:

(a) be a natural person who is an Australian resident who is residing in Australia during the Competition Period (as described below) and for a period of 4 weeks afterwards;
(b) be aged over 18 years at the Commencement Date (as described below); and
(c) have an account with Strawman. You can apply for a free Strawman account at www.strawman.com;

3. Entry and Avatar

Participation is limited to one entry per person. You must not register or attempt to register more than once by using another name or by any other means. When you register you will be required to create ausername (Avatar). You may upload an image of your Avatar. Your Avatar name and image must notbe objectionable or unlawful, must not contain an email or web address, must not contravene any otherperson or entity’s intellectual property rights and must not be threatening, libellous, defamatory,obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, profane or inappropriate in any way.

Entries will open at 9am (AEST) on 1 October 2020 and close at 5pm (AEST) on 16 October 2020.

4. Competition Period

The Competition will commence at 9am (AEST) on 19 October 2020 (Commencement Date) and close at 5pm (AEST) on 11 December 2020 (Close Date).

5. Competing

You are solely responsible for all activity and transactions recorded under your Strawman profile. You may not use or access another person’s profile. You must advise Strawman immediately if you detect or suspect any unauthorised use of your profile or the Strawman Platform.

Trading on your virtual Portfolio can begin at any time, but performance will only be measured over the competition period. Trades are valued based on ASX share prices at the next available closing price as determined by Strawman in its absolute discretion.

Your Portfolio will take into account a variety of corporate actions (as determined by Strawman) and will include any virtual dividends paid on your virtual stocks during the competition period. Dividends will be automatically calculated and added to your Portfolio on the date the virtual dividend goes “ex dividend”.To receive a virtual dividend, or participate in an eligible virtual corporate action, a participant must hold the shares on the day prior to the ex- date.

Share prices and trade values displayed on the Strawman Platform are provided by a third party data supplier who may amend prices or values including to correct any error. Such actions may affect thevalue of a participant’s Portfolio and participant ranking.

6. Winner

The winner is the participant with the highest value Portfolio on the Strawman Platform, calculated on a total portfolio percentage return basis, as determined by Strawman its absolute and sole discretion.

The winner will be announced by Ausbiz on our website www.auzbiz.com.au during live programming on 14 December 2020 and may also be posted on our social media sites and the other Hosts’ websites and social media sites.

The winner will be contacted using the mobile phone number nominated on that participant’s Strawman account. Ausbiz will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winner using the nominated mobile phone number but if the winner is unable to be contacted on that number by 5pm on 16 December 2020, that person will immediately forfeit the Prize (refer below) and the Prize will be awarded to the participant with the next highest ranking Portfolio value as determined by Strawman.

If there is more than one participant holding the highest valued portfolio, the Prize shall be shared equally between the winning participants.

7. Prize

The prize for this Competition is a credit to the value of AUD$10,000 in a Think Markets account provided by TF Global Markets (Aust) Limited trading as Think Markets (and subject to Think Markets’terms and conditions which are available here https://www.thinkmarkets.com/au/support/legal-and-regulation(Prize). To claim the Prize and to use or access the Think Markets’ $AUD10,000 credit, the winner must havean account with Think Markets. You can apply for a free Think Markets account at www.thinkmarkets.com. It is the winner’s responsibility to claim the Prize. The Prize must be claimed by 20 December 2021. This means that winner must have an active Think Markets account that the Prize can be credited to, and have advised Ausbiz of details of this account, on or before 20 December 2021. If the Prize is not claimed by this date, or the winner is not eligible to open a Think Markets account, the prize is forfeited by that participant and will be awarded to the participant with the next highest valued Portfolio.

The winner is responsible for all taxes arising out of or in connection with the Prize.

The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Neither Ausbiz, Strawman nor Think Markets accept any liability for any loss or damage suffered in connection with your participation in the Competition or the winner’s acceptance or use of the Prize.

We may in our discretion award other prizes to other participants.

8. Privacy

You agree that each Host may collect, use, store and disclose your personal information for the purposes of this Competition, for the purposes of becoming a member of each Host, and for the purposes of each Host’s business. For further information on how each Host collects, uses, stores and discloses personnel information, refer to the privacy policy of each Host. Your participation in the Competition is conditional on you agreeing to each Host’s Privacy Policy which is available on each Host’s website. If you do not agree to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information in the manner contemplated by those privacy policies or these Competition Rules, you must not enter the Competition.

You agree that the Hosts may send you their newsletters and other promotional and marketing material and may promote themselves and the Competition by publishing or posting the winner (including the winner’s Avatar) on their websites and on social media sites. You also agree that Ausbiz may approach you and invite you to take part in Ausbiz’s programming in connection with the Competition (but there isno obligation to take part in such programming).

9. Disclaimer and Release

You are solely responsible for all decisions you make in connection with your Portfolio and the Competition. Each Host specifically excludes and disclaims any liability for any representation or warranty (express or implied) including any warranty of performance, merchantability or fitness or suitability for a particular purpose. Each Host makes no representation or warranty (express or implied) that any information on the Strawman Platform, or the Ausbiz or Think Markets websites (whether inconnection with this Competition or otherwise and including any trade price or Portfolio value) is accurate, up to date, reliable or complete.

Participants acknowledge that the Competition is a game and is provided for promotional and entertainment purposes only. The Competition does not replicate the trading requirements nor the trading experience of the ASX market or any other market.

Any information displayed or made available as part of the Competition does not constitute financial advice. Ausbiz does not provide financial advice, nor does Ausbiz take into account any individual circumstances when promoting the Competition. Always seek independent financial and professional advice and consider whether the advice meets your needs if you are making any financial decision.

Each Host makes no representation or promise about the continuity of the Competition. Hosts are notresponsible for any difficulty, inability or failure to access the Competition or any electronic site connected with the Competition. If for any reason (including but not limited to technical failure,overloading, infection by bug or virus, tampering or unauthorised use, or business interruption) the Competition is unable to be run as intended, or anything occurs which affects the security,administration, integrity or fairness of the Competition, Ausbiz and Strawman each reserve the right to suspend the Competition immediately by giving notice of suspension on the Strawman Platform.

You enter the competition at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless each Host from all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection withthe Competition.

10. Suspension and Disqualification

Ausbiz and Strawman each reserve the right, with absolute discretion, to suspend your Avatar and/or to disqualify you, without notice, for any reason, including if we suspect or believe you have cheated or breached these Competition Rules, or engaged in conduct which could subvert the integrity of theCompetition, bring the Competition into disrepute or prejudice the reputation of a Host.

11. Governing Law

These Competition Rules must be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of that State.
