Hi -- a member gets a star for each of the following:

1. Their scorecard is beating the market

2. The have an active recommendation

3. A Straw or Forecast has been endorsed/liked within the past 90 days.

As with all aspects of the beta, we may look to improve or refine this in the future. But it's intended to give a quick visual guide as to the more active and succesful contributors.
