Agree @Mujo just finished reading ‘The Chairman’s Lounge” by ex AFR journalist Joe Aston.   I guess we all knew or came to know just what a piece of work is Alan Joyce. 

Only matched by incompetence and obsequiousness of the then Qantas chair Richard Goyder.  Sadly for some investors Goyder remans the chair of Woodside.    

The book blasts apart any assumption that those in high places will act decently - or are even competent.  

A great read, however with what Aston reveals in the gossipy parts I don’t think the book would be a favourite on the Prime Minister’s Christmas reading list.
