Charities
Building on the philanthropic vision of the Sohn Hearts & Minds Investment Leaders Conference, HM1 is committed to providing significant financial support to leading Australian medical research organisations.
Instead of charging an investment management fee, HM1 donates an amount equal to 1.5% of the fund's NTA per annum. This will be paid every six months and is calculated as 1.5% of the average monthly Net Tangible Asset Backing per Share (NTA) for the previous half-year1. To help maximise our impact, our fund managers and key service providers have committed to waiving their usual fees.
Core Fund Managers
Our core fund managers represent 60% of the portfolio with 15 securities in total. Hearts and Minds have selected five leading fund managers; Caledonia Investments, Cooper Investors, Magellan Financial Group, Paradice Investment Management and Regal Funds Management.
Each core fund manager has agreed to provide HM1 their best three highest conviction ideas, which will be reviewed each quarter.
Many of these core fund managers are not easily accessible to retail investors, providing HM1 shareholders with an opportunity to benefit from these managers’ best investment ideas.
