Nova’s Majority owned Snow Lake Resources Prices IPO
Snowlake is a mining company engaged in lithium exploration in Manitoba, Canada. Its goal is to develop a lithium mine in Manitoba that will deliver net zero carbon, battery grade lithium to the electric vehicle, or EV, consumer market. Nova Minerals an Australian exploration company and Snowlake’s parent, will own nearly 61% of Snowlake after the IPO.
The public offering raised US$24,000,000 before costs from the issue of 3,200,000 common shares at an issue price of US$7.50 per share
Snow Lake's common shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market on 19 November 2021 (US Time) under the symbol "LITM." The offering is expected to close on 23 November 2021, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
Opened strong at $11.50 and closed at $13, up $5.50 from its offer price. shares rocketed 73% on the Nasdaq, giving the mining company a $206 million valuation.
The project is well advanced and with an Indicated Resource Estimate of 9.08 Mt @ 1.00 % Li2O using a 0.3 % Li2O cut-off grade and an Inferred Resource Estimate of 1.97 Mt @ 0.98 % Li2O using a 0.3 % Li2O cut-off grade.
In April 2019, Nova Minerals Limited spun out the Thompson Brothers Lithium Project through Snow Lake Resources Ltd.
