Thinking on it a little more You can always ask for a check for the dividends to be posted to you. I get checks from my Dad in nz for his australian shares every now and then, as he owns a few asx based shares I pay this into his Aus bank account this side every now and then. Hes retired in nz now. However if you where doing an overseas check this income may be eroad ed (sorry for the pun couldnt resist ) by exchange rates.
Hi takezo Im sure there will be an explanation to it all in good time sorry cant really offer too much else in help etc I own Volpara but brought through comsec which is the platform I use I think it was still listed under the asx share registory though im sure this is a similar situation to eroad take care hope its proffitable buisness for you
Just for anyone elses benefit.
Confirmed with SW that I bought the ASX listing. Spoke to Cmputershare NZ and was told that all their admin goes through their NZ site, so a seperate account is required to the AU one. Not the greatest experience from an end user perspective.
Just a question for anyone else who has purchased shares in Eroad.
After my purchase I was a bit surprised to recieve share registry info from computershare NZ requiring a seperate Computershare account. It's a bit of a pain having yet another place where shares are administered, however the main issue is that for Bank Account details, it's asking for an NZ bank account. Just wondering what happens if they pay out a dividend eventually and if there any tax implications?
