Hi Stuey,
I haven't followed GOR, but had a very quick perusal of the drilling results to get a simple feeling as to whether they showed promise.
My view is that the individual drill intersections for a number of the prospect areas, whilst by themselves can't confirm the future likelihood of any economic deposits, certainly provide sufficient indications of gold mineralisation for further follow up and closer spaced definition drilling. I would describe the drilling results overall as promising, and could lead to definition of an economic resource over time, and certainly worth follow up.
In their favour is the fact GOR is spending a fair amount on follow up exploration and drilling.
(Whilst I'm a geologist by background my view shouldn't be construed as providing professional advice, it's just my opinion based on a fairly quick read of the particular announcement). ????
ASX Announcement (on Hot Copper)
GOR hasn't released drilling results in a long time.
These results seem average to below average to me, but I really don't know and would have to spend a lot of time trying to work out what's going on. Smokebush is interesting, particularly the 17m at 5.74g/t from 279.5, but this is moderately deep.
Interestingly the share price has risen 5.75% today to $1.38.
I would value insight anyone has on these results. (I've been thinking I might lighten my exposure to GOR recently for a few reasons).
