I like the sentiment and its good Bob ended off okay, but the sceptic in me thinks that Bob was pretty lucky investing in decades where rates fell for 30 years from double digits to zero while the world saw improved living standards and few major wars. I hope we see similar in the decades ahead especially with similar levels of technological advancement and economic growth so we can think ourselves as lucky too despite the headwind.

It does usually pay to be bullish long term despite the never ending bearish headlines especially at the moment.
