Pinned straw:
That's a nice shiny report for sure @raymon68 - and I do hold GOR in my SMSF - but there is only so much you can do when your only operating gold mine is only 50% yours and is operated by a company based in South Africa (Gold Fields Ltd). One of the things you could do, I suppose, is spend time and money on reports like that one and on environmental consultants or direct employees that work on ensuring the company is adhering to sustainability principles and hitting their own targets... Am I sounding a little negative? Jaded? Seen it all before? Anyway, it will be interesting to see what sort of sustainability focus GOR have IF they end up with a decent share of Hemi, or full control of De Grey Mining (DEG) and their massive gold deposits at Hemi.

Hemi is a long way from Gruyere, but they are both in WA, and GOR already holds 19.99% of DEG.
Gruyere at night. 50% owned by GOR.
