I got a notification that my access to my Oracle cloud OCI account from my company will be removed unless I get recertified

It's an additional cost to me more in terms of time and money second as I use it to test out ideas.

It's like being asked to prove you have a qualification in finance otherwise you will be denied access to your funds.

Wondering if Prophecy is going to get that same treatment from Oracle that their users need to be certified or denied access.

Took me a week to get 36% progress

This mandatory certification to use the cloud platform is great unit economics for the provider as I imagine a cut of the exam fees go back to the provider.

Not so good for the user or consumer (ie: Prophecy or other partners) as they need to spend time revising the certification to use the platform when they could be supporting and scaling new customers. Either that or find a new job.

I'll be off all things finance for a while. Hoping to get this done by end of the week. Wish me luck!
