I think the main red flag is management's track record of assuring the market and analysts that they do NOT need to and do not intend to raise capital, days before announcing dilutive capital raises. That's the reason I exited BGL @Jacques527 . Twice actually - same reason on two different occasions. Fool me once... They fooled me twice. They won't fool me a third time.
